Removing the Old Cistern Pipe

After talking with my dad, decided to break out my old Ridgid Pipe Cutter, to cut out the old cistern pipe out of the basement. This thing was definitely in the way, but no more.

The plan was to just work around it and leave it in, but dad assured me that it wouldn't be a problem to cut it out and well..... let's just say I respect my elders. Probably a good thing for an "Old Goat" to be concerned with....respecting the "Older Goats" among us
